When it comes to receivers we like to think that major companies such as Onkyo, Pioneer, and Yamaha are the best. But, low and behold Cambridge Audio has proven they can hang with the top dogs. Cambridge Audio demonstrated their power at CES with their version 2 of their Azur 640R AV receiver, many viewers were quite impressed. Version 2 has twin 32-bit DSPs, long-awaited Cirrus Logic/Crystal chipset, and direct stereo mode delivers 1200Watts per channel for audiophile listening. The receiver is available in black or silver and will be on the market in the Spring of 09 with a retail value of $1,800.
