Critics say that 40% of the population still haven't switched over to blu-ray. Many critics have wondered why since blu-ray players are now under $200. I can tell them one good reason why, because of the horrible economy we are in right now. People just can't see spending the money for blu ray player when they can get a regular dvd player and dvd discs for dirt cheap right now. We will see in the next 5 years how many people will make the conversion, I'm still trying to. Right now my Xbox 360 supports 1080p, so it's not going to be a real huge jump.
